"Hollywood" M-14 Blank Adapter (BFA) for M14 / M1A Rifles. These are "Hollywood" BFAs and cannot be seen when installed. Simply loosen the set screw on the front of the site base, remove the castle nut, remove the flashider, inset the adapter into the flashider (narrow end out) and reassemble. Prices are for one piece or for a set of two.
We have two stock aperture sizes instock: .110 and .150. The first stock aperture size on this bfa is 0.110 which should work with the weaker Austrian L31A1 blanks in most rifles. It will also work as a pilot hole to drill them out for more powerful blank loads (primarily European military .308 blanks). It is important to note that even though they use same nomenclature designation, there can be a difference in power based on country of origin. For example, British Radway Green L31A1 blanks (headstamp RG) are hotter than Austrian L31A1 (headstamp HP). For most blanks, you will need to enlarge the hole. This is very important!
The second stock size we have is .150. This works with some of the hotter Euro blanks and serves as a pilot hole to be drilled out for hotter blanks such as Joe Swanson and USGI. You must pay attention to this. USGI blanks (especially the bottle nose) and Joe Swanson Hot blanks will require a larger hole than the European blanks and over .150.
