Poncho, Synthetic Resin Coated, OD. We have a small batch of mint unissued WWII hoodless ponchos. Ponchos are the synthetic resin type with drawcord at neck, Ink stamp can be a little hard to see, but I believe all are 1945 dated. This poncho is in unissued condition and is completely pliable. The white marks in the photo are the packing talc to prevent ponchos from sticking together. These 4 ponchos were packed in with a box of unissued late 50's dated ponchos. These ponchos have gotten much harder to find and almost unheard of in pliable condition. It would be almost impossible to upgrade these. Learn More
Marked under the flap as: Field Pack, Combat, MC (Marine Corps), these packs were an attempt to modernize the USMC's load carrying equipment in the late 1960's. The first stop gap measure was essentially a copy of the WWII M-41 Haversack, but made in nylon to better resist tropical climates. Case, Ammunition, Shotgun. We have two original, USGI contract shotgun ammo pouch. Overall EXC condition they appear to be unissued. These are original USGI contract compressed cotton muslin bandages. These cravats are packed with two safety pins and can be used as a bandage, sling, headwrap, etc. Also referred to as a do-rag, drive on rag, etc. When you see photos of a an OD Green "bandana" being worn, it is one of these bandages. They are OD green cotton and measure 37" x 37" by 52". These are post war manufacture, but exactly the same as 1960's production. Learn More
We have a small batch of USGI lanyards. These are typically seen used with M1911-A1 pistols (and later handguns such as M9 with a lanyard ring). They are also used to secure individual equipment such as a compass. These were never dated, but the packaging is post Vietnam, so I will assume that these were made in the 90's or 2000's.
